Opportunity Snapshot
Lead the charge for proposals and support a variety of business development efforts to make an impact on a fast-growing construction firm!
As Proposal Writer, your focus is to support the inside and outside sales organization in winning new projects by developing high quality proposals, sales collateral and presentations. To be a good fit for this opportunity, you will bring solid expertise in technical proposal writing and ideally be able to provide an electronic portfolio of writing samples that reflect your track record of success in this area. Of course, you'll also need the multitasking prowess to coordinate multiple proposals concurrently as well as the interpersonal savvy -- particularly poise and professionalism -- to collaborate with internal stakeholders and bring all the moving pieces of the proposal together in a timely manner.

- Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to achieve goals independently.
- Superior written and oral communications skills.

- Computer proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment; must have advanced proficiency in Word.
Preferred but not required:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education & experience.

What's in It for You
- High impact & visibility -- backed by 16 years of success, we are growing and you'll play a key role in accelerating that growth. You'll develop proposals for multiple business streams and interact with people throughout our organization.
- Opportunity on the horizon -- while no one can predict the future, we are confident that a good deal of potential business is coming up, as economic recovery initiatives involve billions in infrastructure spending.
- Career development -- strong performers can pursue diverse career paths in our company, particularly if they are flexible.

You'll join a high-energy team of diverse personnel ranging from junior staff to experienced professionals; you'll receive plenty of support when you need it and "elbow room" when you don't.
